About the Department / Basic information

The Department of Agricultural Surveying, Cadastre and Photogrammetry is an organisational unit of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy, established in 2009 as a result of the merger of the Department of Geodetic Arrangement of Rural Areas and the Department of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. 

The Department employs the best specialists in the field of rural development (including land consolidation), cadastral geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing and architecture, who conduct advanced scientific research and participate in the implementation of scientific projects, both domestic and foreign.

The Department of Agricultural Surveying, Cadastre and Photogrammetry has modern measuring equipment: a terrestrial laser scanner and a set of unmanned aerial vehicles with rich additional equipment: a laser scanner, a full-frame matrix camera, a five-lens camera, a multispectral camera, a thermal imaging camera and an air quality analyser. The employees of the Department have extensive practical experience and professional qualifications in the field of geodesy, cartography and architecture.

The head of the Department of Agricultural Surveying, Cadastre and Photogrammetry is Assoc. Prof. Jarosław Janus, PhD.
